Throw a NYE Party Like a Pro

New Year’s Eve is the one night a year when the entire world is partying, and we know everyone has their own way of celebrating.

Now there’s no wrong way to throw a New Year’s Eve party, but there are things you can do to make sure your party isn’t just good, it’s exceptional.

To help you host a next-level New Year’s event, we reached out to some of the best promoters and organizers for tips on how to throw a party like a true pro. Take a look below and make your New Year’s Eve the best party of the year!

It’s never too early to book your DJ

New Year’s is one of the busiest times of year for any DJ. So the longer you wait to book one for your party, the fewer options you’ll probably have. One of the best things you can do for your NYE event is to go on AGNT early and find the right DJ for you. Booking early will give you more options, making it easier to find the right sound to make your New Year’s amazing.

Countdown to the perfect track

The countdown is the climax of your party, so make sure you the track you drop at midnight is a banger! Talk to your DJ leading up to the party and ask for suggestions on tone, mood, and style, or if you have a track in mind let your DJ know. To help get you started, here are a few of the tracks AGNT DJs are feeling for this year’s countdown:

Practice makes perfect

When the clock hits midnight, you want to know whatever you have planned for the countdown goes off without a hitch. That’s why you always want to do a test run of all your equipment and rehearse any speeches or announcements leading up to the actual party. Do as many dry runs as possible to ensure you catch and eliminate all the kinks, and avoid any embarrassing mishaps at midnight!

Gear up!

There’s nothing worse than a sound system that gets overpowered by your guests. Don’t settle for Bluetooth speakers or jerry-rigged home stereos. For big parties like NYE, it’s worth investing in a professional sound system rental; the difference in sound quality is a real game-changer. If you’re unfamiliar with renting pro gear, ask your DJ for tips and recommendations! They’ll be able to point you in the right direction.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork

Planning a party isn’t a one-man job. Don’t be afraid to reach out to your guests for suggestions on how to make your party amazing! Using social media to start a dialogue with your guest list is easy, and it will help you gauge preferences for things like drinks, music, location, party favors, etc. After all, who would know your party better than the guests themselves?

Party Hard. Party Safe.

Finally, we encourage everyone to be safe this New Year’s Eve! Once the party is over, try to make it easy for your guests to get home safely via ride-sharing apps or public transportation. If they’ve been drinking, they shouldn’t be driving home.

Get ready for #DJDECEMBER, and get ready to take your holiday party to the next level with AGNT.

Doctor Who is now considered a British Institute and has come a long way since it first aired on November 23rd 1963. The very first show saw the Doctor travel 100,00 years into the past to help some dim cavemen discover light. After 26 seasons and seven Doctors later the series came off our screens in 1989 much to the disappointment of the huge devoted fanbase. In 1996 an attempt was made to revive Doctor Who but it wasnt until June 2005 when it came back with a vengeance with Christopher Eccleston as the ninth Doctor that put the series back on the map as it were. It then went on for 5 years with David Tenant portraying the Doctor until 2010 when Matt Smith took over the role. Today it is still a great family show and has attracted many new fans.
